Safety First. Your Safety is Important To Me.

I dropped off my car this morning at my local auto body shop and now driving a rental car because two weeks ago a lady attempting to come out of her parking space at Whole Foods hit my car (still parked) next to hers. The reason she hit my car is because she had food in her right hand while trying to turn the wheel with only the left hand – clearly she needed both hands on the wheel to make the complete turn without hitting another vehicle.

My girlfriend joked at the time, “If she only had your AutoTray, she could have put her sandwich down……”

I would be remiss if I did not write about this because the moment I saw the food in her hand and trying to turn the wheel with the other, I knew she was going to try something risky. I am not going to promote my AutoTray as the solution to this problem because I am not going to capitalize on our accidents or poor choices some people make, but rather it is about safety first.

Actually, safety always.

I get it, I’ve been there before, trying to eat a meal fast to get back to work, the office, a meeting, or where we need to be and eating on the run or eating while driving our car(s) but, it can be a recipe for an accident. If you cannot take time to sit down and eat at home or in a restaurant but choose to eat in your car – at least do it when the car is not moving. Find a public garden, nature/forest preserve, a shopping mall parking lot, a playground, or my favorite – in front of a flower shop and put your car in park and safely eat your meal. Listen to your favorite radio station or an audio book, or whatever you find relaxing. This is much safer and more enjoyable than trying to eat while driving.

I invented the AutoTray for you to use in your car to make traveling and eating on the run more convenient. While the AutoTray affords you the opportunity to eat on the run and gives you the freedom to eat on the go on the way to work, school, or just running errands, think safety and be mindful. “Like everything else in life, with freedom comes responsibility.”

Summer travel season is here and many of us are planning road trips (if we aren’t in one already). Preparation is key to a stress-free road trip, if you know you and your family will be eating in your car, pack an AutoTray for each member of the family or share and take turns using it.

SPECIAL PROMO: For the month of July and August 2017, I am offering one free AutoTray if you buy three. The Offer: Buy the pack of three AutoTrays (black, gray and ivory) and you will get One Ivory AutoTray Free. Mention Code: Free Ivory.

Wishing you and your family a safe and happy travels this Summer!
